Talon Expeditions is being developed as a specialist small-group travel business centered on guided active journeys. Its intended experiences are organized around a shared itinerary and a defined style of travel, for people who want to explore a destination through activities and local experiences rather than arrange every component of the trip independently. Group size and the nature of the itinerary are central to the concept.
A guided active journey requires a different operating approach from a conventional travel booking. The design of the itinerary, suitability of activities, arrangements with guides and local providers, transport between stages, accommodation and participant information all influence the experience.
